Gross Gaming Revenue (GGR)
Total amount staked by players minus total winnings paid out, before any deductions.
GGR is the industry's headline revenue figure: what the operator retains from play before bonuses, taxes, provider fees or payment costs are subtracted. It is sometimes called gaming win or gross win.
Because it excludes those deductions, GGR overstates what an operator actually keeps. Net gaming revenue is the figure that reflects real economics, and the gap between the two can be substantial in bonus-heavy or highly taxed markets.
