Marketing
Affiliate
An independent partner who sends traffic to an operator's brand in exchange for a share of the revenue or a fixed fee per player.
An affiliate is a third party — a comparison site, streamer, media outlet or individual marketer — that promotes an operator's brand and is paid for the players it delivers. Affiliates carry their own audience, so they let an operator buy distribution without building a media channel first.
From a platform perspective, affiliates need tracking links, attribution rules and a reporting view they can trust. If an affiliate cannot see its own numbers, it stops sending traffic.
